The manufacturing presentation is a general presentation about manufacturing technology.
The Rapid Prototyping is about a small, but for Industrial Designers, very important category of manufacturing techniques namely the additive manufacturing techniques. Rapid Prototyping is sometimes also called 3D printing.
The faculty has a freely available materials and manufacturing processes database called CES EduPack 2012: https://sites.id.tue.nl/departimentaloffice/Servicedesk/AZ%20Wiki/Software.aspx
The database contains approximately 3000 materials and approximately 100 manufacturing processes.
